Stronger together for a circular future in professional horticulture
17/04/2025
Desch Plantpak and Anylabel are joining forces to create smarter and more sustainable packaging solutions for the ornamental horticulture sector.
At Desch Plantpak, sustainability is not a trend — it’s a core value. That’s why we are proud to announce our next step toward a circular economy: a strategic collaboration with Anylabel B.V., a specialist in innovative and environmentally conscious labeling materials. Together, we are strengthening sustainability throughout the professional horticultural supply chain.
Who is Anylabel?
Anylabel B.V. specializes in the production of labels, tags, and carrying handles with high-quality printing on sustainable materials. With years of experience and in-depth sector knowledge, they guide customers from initial concept to final product — all under one roof. Their products are made from recyclable plastics that are resistant to water, light, and weather conditions. The plastic waste released during their production process is no longer discarded, but from now on will be supplied to Desch — giving it a new life as a raw material for pots and trays. This waste is converted into Post Industrial Recycled (PIR) regrind: a high-quality, circular raw material that can be reused in new applications.
Turning waste into value
Through this collaboration, Anylabel’s PIR regrind is integrated into our production process. It enables us to manufacture new pots and trays for professional horticulture — made from recycled material and fully recyclable.
“I am recycled – recyclable” — a powerful message that now defines every product we create.
What does this partnership deliver?
Tangible benefits across the supply chain:
More sustainable total solutions for ornamental horticulture
A truly circular process: from waste material to finished product
Strengthened collaboration across the value chain
This partnership, initiated through HSPI, reflects our shared ambition for a circular and innovative green future.
